NATIONAL DIV 1 - Elys young squad perform well at Maidstone

National Seniors League  - Div 1

Elys 4th National Division 1 tournament of the year saw them travel to Maidstone.  With exams taking its toll 5 of the normal squad were missing. Regulars Dan Salisbury and Sam Arnold were joined by 15 year olds Paul Masterton, Hattie Ford in goal, Emily Barrow and Vicky Moffatt.

Roller Hockey is a fast and exciting sport. It's almost as exciting to watch as play.

Roller Hockey is similar to Ice Hockey but is played on roller skates and with a ball rather than a puck. This format makes for an exciting game that is suitable for all ages of players.

Here at Ely we play on quad skates which is the more traditional style. The alternative is played on inline skates.

There are not many sports where females and males play on an equal footing, but Roller Hockey is one of them.

Please take a look at our club information pages and come along to watch or take part. For more information about the club, please go to the club info page
